1. techinically, upscaling makes image quality no better. when it does, it's only because of the poor video processing on the television, which is then bypassed by feeding it an image it can handle natively.

2. no matter how good the upscaling of the image is, the wii will still be dealing with 480p optimized textures. so it will still look incredibly inferior compared to native high-definition images on a HDTV. saying upscaling the wii to 720 will make it look just as native 720p is like saying hd-dvd's and blu ray disk's are unnecessary because dvd's can be upscaled to 1080p

3. 720p>1024x768
by roughly 200,000 pixels

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
