Andre: how would you say the controler doesn't work good? What aspect of it is incorrect? You originally said that the sports gets old after a couple hours. So your telling me that their free game was only holding your attention for 2 hours at least. Did you try any of there other games like zelda? how could you say its junk when you only tried one game that came with the system? You also enjoyed it for 2 hours from your comment. I could get tired of playing any game if I played it for more than an hour at a time.

This is a seriouse problem, but there have been colony collapses before just not in this large of scale. Those were not caused by cell phone interferance, so its hard to say that this is as well. I've been following it, and previously there has been some way to tell what has caused it but not this time. I guess it could be possible, but wouldn't people have noticed it on a large scale last year as well? Why all of them all of the sudden. Maybe I missed something and it happend last year as well, but all the info I have looked at says no. So has cell phone usage increased in all of those areas so much to cause the problem this year but not previously? I think it seems unlikely.

It does seem to be something that should be looked at as a possible cause. If it is cellphone usage it should be reduced imediatly and investigated until we can figure out a solution.

David Batten I agree with you I could see a few people thinking well if my car will let me drive it must be safe but they are not within the legal limit and the system fails. Then they are out on the road drunk, they get a ticket or worse they hit something or someone. Who is to blame then? The driver of course but do you think that would stop them from suing the auto manufacturer?

well it's more expensive for a third world to buy this laptop than the OLPC isn't it? How can it be a laptop if it doesn't come with the LCD? Sometimes advances in technology confuse me. On anouther note how will it be powered and what kind of wireless capabilities does it have. The OLPC seemed to have a pretty inovative idea with the adhoc wireless in it. Or is this laptop suppose to be aimed at the masses as a replacement to the 1000+ laptop?
