Got my pre-order in for Huntington Beach, CA ... Which is strange, since we don't have SDV yet (afaik). But anyhow, I ordered one anyways, for whenever they do roll it out...
Not relevant until I can get fake bucky-paper-style dashboard trim.
Especially since they're essentially 90's era Mercedes-Benz E-classes.
What the? Slick tyres? That's illegal!!!
Boo! Doesn't work with Google Apps Documents, just regular Google Docs.
Tivo is not really that much of an added expense, because (for me at least) leasing an HD-DVR from the cable company came out to over $15/month, vs. Tivo's $12.95/month + $1.50 for cablecard. So the only expense I guess is the device itself, which is VASTLY superior to any cable DVR. And you can bring it with you if you move and keep your content, AND it works with Verizon FIOS, so you have options.
I had a Sanyo SuperBeta player... way back in the 80s...
Looks like all I'll bring with me overseas is my P-P-P-Powerbook :P
Are these going to be SDV or not?
Does it allow you to change the APN with a different SIM card and the unlocking wafer?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
