Nicer than most! Gimme gimme gimme.
Nice enough to deserve a little prize here and there.
I'm nearly always nice, as I was this year.
Widespread death and destruction is about the only way we're turning this ship around without it just being a band-aid on the existing system.

No-whammies-no-whammies-no-whammies-no-whammies!
How about no. I shouldn't have to own your entire platform ecosystem in order to get to content within a given game on a given platform.

I don't mind adding some sort of bonus functionality (you can use the secondary screen of the handheld as a radar map, or as a PIP-boy, or share media between your console and your portable), but tying content to other platforms this way? BS.

For context (in case someone wants to try and argue that this is just like one of these other things and draw parallels): I am not against DLC content (everyone has equal access, with no additional hardware/software required). I am against content tied to pre-orders/purchases from specific retailers.
"In the event the potential winner of any prize is a Canadian resident, he/she will be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical question to be administered by email/mail to receive the prize."

That is hilarious. WTH?
Scored a 3, and all 3 that I got wrong were grouped together.

Personally, I used the poor viewing angles on my laptop to help out.
To whomever wrote the title for the post: Way to sell your soul for clicks, you money-grubbing SOB.

As others pointed out, the article (which was very well written), specifically considers GTA IV art, he just doesn't think it deserves some of the favorable comparison it receives in comparison to other works that share the motif.
The "4" at the end of Call of Duty didn't seem to prevent people from enjoying it without having played the prior three? Super Mario Brothers "3" similarly had no issues for those who skipped 1 and 2.

Your point that appreciation of the game is hindered by lack of experience with the prior games is valid, and shared by most of the internet. But, your claim that the "4" is the indicator which would tip off the end user is a little off base.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
