interesting, cuz a Windows 7 "741" advertising booth was setup at my college last Thursday with a slew of demo laptops available. I found this Eee PC tablet and played with it. Very difficult to see anything on the LCD under the sunlight in a mildly cloudy afternoon, but the touchscreen was cool. I had trouble closing applications cuz my fat fingers couldn't touch the "x" on the upper right hand corner.
There seems to be two more pictures at this link http://www.51nb.com/viewnews-53678.html showing another model. Not sure if anyone has seen these other ones yet.
ooo, I've always wanted one ever since it was announced!
yes I agree, I totally use RSS feeds for exactly this purpose. helps to let me know approximately I should sell my stuff at by getting immediate feeds of the same items sold by others in the area.

plus, i'd rather check my RSS reader rather than an inbox full of stuff that can hide important emails.
fixing the world economy? wait it out
is that a green Trackpoint in the upper right corner of the keyboard? Glad to see they keep with the Thinkpad tradition, but green is unusual.

I hope they sell something else like this at an affordable price range (i.e. NOT Reserve Edition) cuz I want one!
I was wondering where the 15 hours came from; it's 10hrs in the vid and 13hrs in the article.
Cool, I've been hoping for something better than what's currently available to come around. This may be it.

What's with the "Release August 22, 2006" translation?
With an ATT 8310, updating through Google's Updater or visiting the m.google.com/maps to update doesn't work. It gives version 2.2.0. You'll need to find the link to dl version 2.2.1 (in one of the BB forums) to get it to work, as I had to do...
I really want this so I can give it my aging parents, who need a way to exercise at home to relieve stress.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
