Some people just don't get it. This isn't a rival to the 360, we all know that the 360 and all of its features would blow this thing out of the water (and trust me, I'm a HUGE Apple fanboy)! The problem with the AppleTV is the name of the device. They should have named it iPodTV, because that's what it is... a headless iPod! Anything you can do with an iPod you will be able to do with an AppleTV. Get it? I won't be buying one of these, but I will recommend it to people, it's a great non-techie device, I'll stick with hooking up a mac mini to my tv, or, gulp, an MS XBox!

And please, get off endadtget's case... if you don't like what they write (and they cover A LOT for us lazy asses too "busy" to search the web for all this info), then hit the back button!
Lets not forget... Apple stated that you have to lock into a 2-year contract with AT&T/Cingular when you purchase the iPhone... so whats the price for the remainding 6 months of service? $60, $70... $80/month?
Great... I was going to get a new Dash at the end of December, now what do I do!? Darn you Technology! Darn you!
MacBook Pro
OTA - with a seperate ATCS tuner box... so round-about, but it gets the job done on the cheap!
Dear Engadget, I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle! Uh... nevermind, I will probably shoot my eye out. What I meant to say was that I would like #12, the "Fossil Wrist PDA". How cool would it be if someone stopped me and asked for the time, and I responded "Uh, can you hold on a sec, I'm just finishing up my Solitaire game!" Oh, SO geeky, and yet SO cool!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
