smile for the camera
look at the size of that thing.... that's not a moon!
Saw this just last weekend during travel... thought the idea was good..
until I saw the price.

I wonder what percentile of flyers fly often enough to justify the cost...
I'm thinking way less then 1%
Sansa e200 series adopted the 4th gen iPod nano
form factor and layout long before apple did
(what the heck was that fatty about? was Ives on vacation?)

I absolutely LOVE having a microSD slot in my player.

Being able to record audio has been very useful
(FM reception not so hot, however).

Add accelerometers and I'd be real happy.

Apple may sell more units, but Sandisk made a better player sooner.

I have no idea what crack sandisk was smoking when they persued the slotplayer stuff however.
ummmmm this isn't rearview, and isn't a mirror... Your attempts at being cool and snarky have failed.
Could have saved yourself by proposing that perhaps the display show video from a rear-facing camera...

This is just a heads-up-display.
Integration with your entire windshield doesn't make sense...
with a standalone unit like above (but with a thinner bezel please)
this could be a neat after-market add-on, however.
I could keep hundreds of thousands of multiple copies of my photos on this thing.... and somehow I'd still be missing some.
More pixels help me work better so I can be more productive and efficient ;-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
