How does this compare with the Polk Surroundbar? Anyone tried both?
Not sure how this is news. I tried one of these 3 months ago with google wifi in mtn view. It definitely increased the range but not enough to connect to the free google network, but it did allow my PC to 'see' about 10 more of wireless access points in neighboring homes.
This only brings back up the fact that there is no Xbox 360 version of EAs craptacular Nascar game. It makes me long for a good nascar game like the Dirt to Daytona one from Monster Games.
software update != to firmware updates, firmware for this type of device would be specifically for the gsm radio, which is totally unrelated to an application update.
