Completely silent, except for any audio you tell it to play of course.

No fan, not even a heatsink, it doesn't get hot enough to need one.

Not a huge speaker, lots of little ones!

THEN WHO WAS MANHOLE?
Because I don't want email, I want twitter! email can wait, twitter changes/updates too fast for me to keep track of it over long periods without access - i normally use my iDevice but it's battery barely lasts a day, presumably the Peek lasts longer.

Ah, but alas, i live in Australia. Land of the free, and home of the chinese.

So basically it's CD-keys a la online game purchases that don't come with media, but for movies instead?
The existing 802.11n standard does 5.8GHz, as does 802.11a (802.11a is 5.8 only actually)
the only problem being that LCDs require a constant influx of power to sustain an image, significantly shortening battery life to hours rather than days.

So you can use your shiny awesome new display with your non-Mac.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
