It's really going that way, isn't it. To think that Steve Jobs used to despise the very same practices that Apple is pulling today.

APPLE: "We will be removing firewire from all 13inch MBA..."
FANBOIZ: "...seems reasonable..."

(months later)

APPLE: "...introducing the new 13" MBP - with firewire!"
FANBOIZ: "ZOMG!!!! I'M BUYINZ 3!!!"

sound familiar?

meh.

if companies were politics, Apple would rank alongside the Nazi party; or the Obama Administration (same diff)
Not sure I'd ever use the password feature. I just wish Intel would hurry on up and release these bastards.
In the case of Apple, absolutely. Their recent filings include patents for copy n' paste, fingerprints, and gravity.

Utter bollocks. Burn it; and throw some tyres on there for good measure.
Should be interesting to see how apple respond. In all honesty, they could do with a kick in the arse.

Don't we all, though...don't we all.
aye, took me a second to figure it out. popeye's bird, innit.
So, that translates to 'bout 600 quid once Sony decide to release this in the UK.

Nice.

Installed FF3.5 but now it's raining. It was bright and sunny before I updated.

I hope the Mozilla team fixes this.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
