Sorry if this has been covered, but I can't find the answer anywhere. With the bigger DSi screens, does that mean new games won't work on the DS Lite?
Why are there so many handheld Castlevanias, when the same can't be said about Metroid?

A new 2D Metroid title for the DS would be snazzy, wouldn't it?

Yes, snazzy.
I'm very happy with what we're getting. I first played Chrono Trigger as a rom on my computer about 4 years ago. It immediately became my 3rd favorite game of all time (behind Super Metroid and A Link to the Past).

Leave the 3D remakes to Final Fantasy. Chrono Trigger belongs in 2D.

I, for one, will not be using a stylus with this game (well, maybe menus, but not during gameplay). Call me old fashioned, but I want a portable Chrono Trigger, not a new-and-improved portable Chrono Trigger. So I'm head over heels with this news. It can't come soon enough!
Makoto99 said, "Really goes to show you how people bandwagon on things."

See, now, I think it really goes to show you how much people love Chrono Trigger. Even without a graphical update, gamers are clamoring for this port. A testament to the quality of the game.
2D Castlevania has found a home on handhelds, so where's the Metroid love??

New 2D Metroid for the DS! PLEASE!
With an lame-compressed MP3 file for speech, I'm playing Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis on ScummVM DS, and the total file size is 90 MB. So, you know what LucasArts? Keep your ports, I'll keep my ScummVM DS.
I meant Q1 AND Q2, mah bad. Can I arbitrarily lump both into a made-up H1 for Halfyear 1? Sure, why not? I just did.
I think Lego Indiana Jones and Summon Night look like fantastic games! Summon Night wasn't even on my radar.

At least for me it's been a phenomenal 2008 so far. Prof. Layton, Nanostray 2, Ninja Gaiden, and Ring of Fates have all been good to great. I'm playing The World Ends With You right now, and that's shaping up to be 3rd on my list for Q1 08, behind Layton and NG.

Now all I need is N+, dagnabbit!
Open your DS to the first click. There is one more click past this that flattens out the two faces. Use this for book-style games to eliminate the contrast discrepancy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
