i for one, cannot wait for the maglev, if it ever comes. the drive just plain sucks, especially trying to get out there on a friday night after work. it takes about 2 - 3 hours just trying to get out of LA before hitting the (not so) open road to vegas!

hehe... i'm currently living abroad in shanghai for work and there's one of these bootleg X5s parked in front of my building. there's actually two in my complex... the silver one in front of my building and a black one in front of the next building over. i'm also amused to see bootleg CR-Vs, and what appears to be some sort of X-Terra and Frontier clone as well on the streets. i'll start taking pics.

In 8th grade we went on a class field trip to Washington DC. While we were there, some of the guys bought some novelty hot sauce that isn't really meant for consumption since it's pretty much pure capsicin extract. Well, being 8th grade boys we all had to prove we were more man than each other and each took turns dipping a finger in and on the count of 3, everyone stuck their chili-covered finger in their mouth. My mouth tasted like burning for about 30 minutes. One of the guys started tearing up and made the mistake of wiping his eyes with the chili-fingered-hand. His eye swelled shut for awhile and we all got yelled out by the teacher.

Hey, they forgot Caffeinated Bacon and Baconated Grapefruit. And most importantly... Tomacco.
