Make the video compatible with media center videos. I really wish I could watch my recorded shows on my zune.

1. Projectors become the new TVs for the middle class.
2. Home theaters become more popular as a result.
3. Digital SLRs become the new point-and-shoot cameras.
4. iPhone will come out and suck because it won't basically be an iPod that can make calls.
5. Instant replay is added to more sports, like tennis.
6. Some sort of breakthrough in fuel cell/hybrid car technology.
7. Downloadable videos pick up bigtime, be it TV shows, movies, whatever. Maybe even a settop box with an HDD and iptv service.
8. Satellite radio adds video to its services.
Why do you need a reciever in your PC when you can just stream over the net and not worry about reception? Audio quality isn't *that* different.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
