Though I have to add that it was for a van that they were redoing. They put speakers on the bottom of the van and had a module mounted on the dash. The module was filled with various synthetic engine noises from every young adolescent's dream cars programmed into it and when you press on the gas pedal it would play these sounds in sync with the amount of "power" that you are applying to the gas pedal.

Now, if the pre never makes it (which I know it's doing a pretty good job right now), It won't be because it's a bad device, it'll be because Palm is constantly throwing the work "iPhone" around. Don't compare yourself to a perceptively "Superior" product. I'm not saying iPhone is superior but every time you drop the word "iPhone" into a conversation, people start to compare a well established product with a product fresh out the baby's mama. If I had to choose between brand new and brand trusted: I'd choose brand trusted.

You know who used to have an email only device? RIM... like 10 years ago. I guess It's still nice to have a variety of devices to get your everyday life done. I know I have a smartphone with a camera and a stand alone digicam but at the same time to lug around a phone, a digicam, an "Email" device and an mp3 player give you choice in devices but withers your wallet down.

Save your time and energy. Get an all in one mobile device. MAYBE a digi cam on the side. and save your pocket space for all of the money you're saving!
