The one thing I would like to see these GPS units allow for is saving a route as you took it - meaning if you deviated from the suggested course, allow the unit to save that route in case you decide to go that way again. Many times the course the unit suggests is not nearly the best one, especially when it diverts you off a highway onto a route to save you 20 minutes when in fact that route has enough traffic lights and normal congestion to add 40 minutes to your trip - and if you don't really know where you're going, this proves to be annoying.
I hope this unit will work with current unit docks, like the one for the current Xpress radio which I currently have :)
I saw this a few weeks ago, when I was researching why my Zen Vision:M's clock wouldn't keep the correct time - I saw there was a firmware upgrade but also this same upgrade removed the FM recording function.

I never record from FM but for some weird reason I like having the option - 'just in case'. Fuck the weird clock, I've got a watch & the player works just fine with the shipped firmware, so no updating for me.

Take that RIAA!!!

This really is ridculous, the editing you'd have to do to clean up FM recording is so much more work than just jumping on a torrent to get the track. They're clueless.
I don't think the Vision:M is all that 'bulky' on it's own. If you use the flip-up Creative leather case it can be large but on it's own it fit's very nicely into my shirt pocket as well as pants pocket.

I previously had a 40 gig Zen Xtra that died on me, but I had a 5 year warranty at Best Buy so I traded up & got the Vision:M. The screen quality for movies and audio quality are both fantastic. Granted, it's not something I'd wanna watch all movies on but for commuting it beats a portable DVD player.

Another plus - with the video/out I can connect this to a tv or to the LCD screens in my SUV and the kid can watch gigs of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, all without me having to burn & author DVDs.
I have a 30 gig ZV:M and aside from it being very prone to scratches (solved easily with a $15 screen protector) it kicks ass. I've watched more TV & movies on it during my work commute than listened to music, but for tunes it's great as well.

I'll be upset of the 60 gig is $300 tho, that's 40 more than I paid for the 30 gig!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
