"Makes us wonder what you readers think is the best mod that's ever seen the light of day."

Hands down, Action Quake 2.

Action Half-Life, Powerball Quake 2 and Air-Gun Quake 1 are all close seconds.
Adding to #15's post, here is a video of similiar technology being used with current video games. I hope this is the future of computer interfacing. Minority Report anyone?

Haunting, General Choas, Rugby, Alien 3, Lost Vikings, Taz Mania? :P
I saw this years ago on a Buick Cielo at some car show I went to. I never heard about that car afterwards, but if you do a google search on "Buick Cielo" you'll see what I mean.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
