I'm looking forward to being able to hold all of my music (I have a relatively small collection), make phone calls, watch Youtube and surf the internet on one device. With WiFi set up in my house, I can go on the internet without carrying my laptop around everywhere.
@ matt (first post)

what the hell is wrong with you? this isn't funny.. it's tragic, and you respond with "lol." seriously, what the hell?
P. Diddy now goes by the moniker "Diddy," so I don't think he's endorsing it since there's no "P." in his name. Learn you frigin facts please :)

with the 2GB nano priced at $150, i hope these prices are off... $30 more for half the storage or $70 more for the same storage... i think most people will overlook the video and flash capabilities, and the battery life (since it is only 6 hours more than the nano now)... therefore people will only look at the style, and i dont think the logic is to pay for every millimeter that they put ON the player, its usually the other way around

and no im not feeling the yahoo! purple
dave95, thanks for stating the obvious

of course steve jobs knew about the zune in advance, weve been hearing about it on here for almost a year i think? i really don't think he has to worry but releasing an updated iPod with more memory, more battery life and at a cheaper price, with a huge music and video (and now full-length movie store) will make the iPod seem a much better alternative to the Zune.
am i the only one who thinks that they ripped off the style of the chocolate phone?
jw why did they go back to the 1G mini style of having the MENU, play, back and forward symbols gray rather than matching the color of the body? anyway, i'm still waiting for a good fullsize iPod (i've been using the midsize models since i got my first iPod, the mini), but i think this looks pretty hot. I just wish I could buy some games for my current nano, but theyre only for 5G.
hey just so you know linkin park's two albums i believe have both been in the top 5 sellers of the year in which they were released. yes, someone listens to linkin park. i listen to them, and so do alot of people. i haven't listened to them in a few years and i agree their riffs are very simple and their lyrics seem not all that great and kind of repititive, but it's good music, and having seen them in concert, i can say they put on an amazing live show. i think it is great that they finally added their library to iTunes, although I think every Linkin Park fan would have already bought their physical albums by now.
you guys seriously have to realize that the average consumer won't care if a screen has more colors or has FM radio. it's all about style. take the RAZR for instance, it has a crappy screen and camera and many phones have better features, but Motorola has managed to sell 50 million of them because of their thinness and style. The Zen Vision:M is a tank. It's at least twice the size of the 30GB iPod with video. The colors are ugly... Black and white look much nicer than lime green or aqua blue. Also, the iPod's click wheel makes so much more sense than the Zen's buttons. One: you're finger moves in a constant motion, you don't have to go up, then lift your finger, place it at the bottom of a strip and go up again; you just go in a circle. Two: the buttons are right on the wheel, which makes them easier to access and looks nicer. To the average consumer, the iPod is the better mp3 player.

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
