you beat me to it! having it like a flight sim really would rock!
just another reason to buy a wii, if you can find one in the UK! 3 months after launch and they're still common as rocking horse poo here.
the backwards compatibility on the wii works like a charm, even with original gamecube launch titles. i've tried quite a few gamecube games on a wii now and every single one worked with lightning fast loading (compared to the 'cube) and much improved graphics - not far off those of proper wii games.
is it just me or would it be a good idea for these companies showing off their latest, greatest cameras to have a cd of sample photos for each camera they could give to the press? surely compared to the r&d of the camera, a few hundred cds wouldn't cost that much!
i'm interested in looking at the spec and outside of a camera, but i'd really like to know how well it actually takes photographs...
why bother changing the spec and adding a new dvd drive, when they could put the HD-DVD drive inside, HDMI on the back and become a challenger to the PS3 all in one solution?
i want a nuclear car that runs off bananas, like the one in back to the future!
why don't Nintendo bring back the "power glove"? surely the wii would be perfect for this?

it's a case of playing the waiting game. people who rush out and get the first ones hitting the pre-order shelves will be stung by the price, personally i will just wait til the price drops!

so approx prices;
UK £179 Dec 8th
US £153 Nov 19th
Aus £160 Dec 7th
Jpn £113 Dec 2nd

so if someone in the uk bought a Japanese console, paid £20 shipping (that's the shipping for a PS2 from Japan) and got done for import duty, they'd still save about a fiver!
DonL, don't you mean they're using a thermal dell-tection device?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
