iPhone 101: Eight 3G iPhone Plan Pricing Details You Need to Know {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 2nd 2008 1:29PM Yeah - this is what really gets me. I have to pay for my own hardware and my own connectivity to access our company Exchange server. Why should I have to pay more for it? What's the difference?

Also, if I upgrade my current iPhone to the v2.0 software with Exchange support, what are they going to do?

Damn infuriating. Makes me want to go back to my BlackBerry...

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 available for pre-order {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jan 10th 2008 8:54PM Photoshop Elements 6 or Pixelmator?

No-brainer: Pixelmator. At only $59, it blows the proverbial pants off of Photoshop Elements.

Ask Engadget: SD and MP3-friendly portable audio recorder? {Engadget}

Apr 29th 2007 10:53AM I'll add my vote for the Zoom H-4. I've had it for about 6 months and I love it. I just wish it supported SDHC, but you can store a LOT of mp3 audio in 2GB, especially if it's only speech. I typically record in 320 KBPS mp3, which is *very* high quality, but allows me to record more than 14 hours of audio, compared to uncompressed WAV.

I also have an Olympus DS-30. It doesn't have an SD card, but it has a tiny form factor and records in high quality WMA format. You can transfer files to a Mac or PC using the built-in mini-USB connector on the device.

I couple it with a cardioid stereo condenser mic from Giant Squid Audio Lab and it works great for recording one-on-one interviews.

Hope that helps.

Apr 15th 2006 10:31AM This is great, but what about those of us with Digital Cable and the dreaded cabled box? Is there an IR Blaster that's compatible with the EyeTV software? Google turned up nothing.
