The PS3 Blu-ray remote review {PS3 Fanboy}

Dec 27th 2006 5:56PM As for the dedicated power button, what you didn't mention was that the PS3 remote - "any" button becomes the power button. Just press a button on the remote and the PS3 will come to life. Nice touch in my opinion.

Live at Nintendo's NYC Wii press conference {Engadget}

Sep 14th 2006 9:43AM Well considering that historically Nintendo launches in November most all their consoles, and the price point sounds about right considering most launches have been in the $200-$300 and up, it's no big surprise to me. I'll be getting one and enjoying it this holiday.

iTunes video: Where are the sports clips? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Nov 14th 2005 8:14PM And what would be cool would be highlights from particular sports - baseball and those amazing catches, home run stealings. Or with football - bone crunching reels of yesteryear. Or watching classics of the Lakers with Kareem, Magic, Worthy! Of course there would be some boxing clips that would be really short - the Mike Tyson reign of terror - 2 secs and they're outta here! But there are plenty of possibilities. And as of yet untapped area.

Jul 2nd 2005 7:18PM Well I too have "overpacked" when trying to go on a vacation. my next trip to NYC I'll have to decide what I need to cut down packing. All I really need is my Rebel XT, 40GB iPod with color and the connector. The temptation is deciding do I need all the extra gear for my bag. This is what I usually carry http://photos5.flickr.com/6445178_aff14ddc65.jpg

Fit more music on your iPod shuffle {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Mar 11th 2005 5:44PM This does indeed work, but remember that since it's converting on the fly, the lenght of time for music transfer will be extended. some folks in the Apple forum were complaining at how slow the transfer but that was due to their library having more files greater than 128k music files. But it is a worthwhile feature, because it doesn't create duplicates to clutter up your music library.
