I often drive past COSTCO to go to SAMS club, because of the crowded parking and very long,SLOW checkout! Accepting food stamps is likely to SLOW things even more! --Perhaps they should have designated checkouts for foodstamps? I usually prefer to shop where parking is easy, and checkout is fast and efficient! Coupons and foodstamps make for SLOW checkout processing!(Slow checkout leads to parking problems, because customers are inside instead of gone!)
I say, get a good lawyer, discuss options for pressing charges or suing, and if it looks good, do either or both! In the future, I would return, making another attempt, arriving with a childs bicycle helmet, and be certain that the child was properly attired for horseback. I would also arrange for witnesses to be present, videotaping the outcome, to bolster my case! WHY can't they release the kids all at once, or in larger groups? When I attended school, everyone was released at 3:00 PM, and everyone survived!
Seems like the principal is a "control freak" and the police need more training!---Bob
If she had been PRETENDING to like things he liked, it was GOOD he did not get stuck with her!-After marrying, she would have been trying to change things, resulting in problems! Good bye, B--tch!
SAFETY of the patron, and liability of the restaurant are why shoes are required! If the feet are on the floor without shoes (Protection) they (the feet) are exposed to damage from getting stepped on, possible cuts or punctures from objects on the floor, and/or infection from germs on the floor. Stay OFF the floor, or wear shoes, REGARDLESS of age!-(If the baby was NOT being allowed to contact the floor with its feet, I feel the manager overreacted. A warning, explaining the hazard, and advising prevention of floor contact should have been sufficient, and if the warning not to contact the floor was disregarded, the patron should have then been requested to leave.--Bob
Years ago, on Maryland Rt.32, geese were crossing the road, nobody stopped traffic for the geese, but a female driver swerved into the other lane, attempting to avoid the geese, colliding HEAD-ON with an approaching vehicle, resulting in multiple HUMAN fatalities! (I do not know if the geese were injured)-Bob
The "Do Not Call List" is a JOKE! I have three phones, one of which is a cell phone, all listed on the so-called "do not call list", and get these calls on ALL of the phones! Until we can have a quick, effective way to punish those that persist in calling, this abuse and these undesired calls will continue! If we could record the calls, and use that to quickly collect $10,000.00 or so from these pests for calling us, perhaps they would stop!-If I were on the jury for his trial, I would vote NOT GUILTY!-Bob
It was probably the easiest way to get the wife out of the house!--Bob
45 cups of MILK, taken in a short time, say over a one hour period, might kill you too! 45 cups is over 2.75 GALLONS of liquid! If it didn't kill you, you would probably feel sick enough to wish it DID kill you!-Bob
Did you try connecting it to your computer via the FIREWIRE port? (I-link)?
Please do NOT perpetuate the confusion caused by saying "Made in America"--America does not necessarily mean the U.S.A.! "America" could mean ANY country in north or south AMERICA, including Mexico, Canada, Chile, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, etc. What I want is "MADE IN THE USA!" There are companies that proudly proclaim, "Made in America" for their goods that are NOT made in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA!--Bob
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
