There is a SIGNIFICANT downside to zinc air. Once you expose the battery to air the first time (by pulling off a "remove first" sticker of some sort) the clock is ticking as the battery starts oxidizing. Generally you only have a few days to use it before a zinc-air battery is chemically neutered. OTOH, you can partially use an alkaline, then store it for a month or two, and finish using it.
lol
I'll be waiting (probably about the 3rd person if i arrive at 11:55) at my local Walmart supercenter. Indoors, and with convenient snackfood. Enjoy standing outside in line for hours :P
Aren't they going to have to make more then 15 of them? Or is June the ramp up month for production. Serious 15 CPUs, well, it'll match he number of Toshiba notebooks with HDDVD players made and sold in May. Still, you'd think Intel would have to make more then 15 to run a production line, so they are doing small run custom fab now, huh? Cool.
It's not that the USB is picky, stupid motorola keeps changing what pins they are applying the voltage on, so even though they use a USB 2 mini connector, it's not a USB spec connection (and in some cases could or would damage any actual ubs device plugged into it)
Great, so we continue to pay $15/month ($180/yr) for no new content, then we have to pony up an extra $50 for each expansion. (180+50=230/yr) I bet Warcraft will start to have massive dropouts of players 3 months after each new expansion. (and some of them will sign up again about 9 months later, but some will be gone for good.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
