When John Q. Public decides to buy a computer, 9 times out of 10 his initial thought is, "What's this going to cost me?"

Apple has traditionally never been interested in this consumer for their Mac business. This may be changing with the success of the iPod and iPhone, but I haven't really seen any concrete indication of this.

Normally I get ticked about these types of reports, as they don't tell the whole side of the story, only one minor fragment. But, I hope it drives down Apple's stock so I can buy some cheaply before they announce another record breaking quarter in harsh economic times.
me please!
i'll take this one too thanks.
I'll take it thanks.
I wonder how this will compare to the OPPO opdv971h.
I have a feeling that people are expecting the world from iTunes using crappy setups and old hardware. On a Dual opteron at work, and a G4 iBook and upgraded 1.8ghz Quicksilver at home iTunes 7 works well except for the artwork grabbing.

Don't like it don't use it. Whiners.

Of course, but I was just trying to compare if you want to play HD movies on your next-gen system. No doubt the Xbox is the cheaper game system, but if you want to play HD movies, it's a level playing field (if the rumor is true).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
