(Sigh) I'm bitching with ya. I got the same one from Newegg for my 10 y.o. after my old clunker Dell Inspirion fuzzzzzzzed out. Sucks my old 40gb portable drive won't work with it too! :(

I am tempted to get this for myself for a lightweight 'book to tote around but damn this recession!

Why does this bear comes off as some nagging shrew?

The bot features an impressive bag of tricks including an accelerometer ("ooo, it's bumpy"), light sensor ("don't forget to turn on the lights")

^^^That would earn a shoe thrown at it. Of course an e911 call would happen next and I would charged with a "domestic."

Back to the subject, I am for the data-Yay!, voice-Nay! argument on board flights. Besides the chuckle I get from watching frantic synchronized phone dialing as SOON as the ok is given once the plane lands, I *really* don't want to hear about someone's medical history 25000 feet in the sky. Bad enough having to hear it on the train.

I spoke to a rep at T-mobile and was told that I couldn't disable receiving txt on my phone. I know T-mo sends free txt whenever you make a payment online, but it sucks when you get unwanted txt but not enough to justify adding a plan.

Didn't he also use a Nokia 9300 in the movie as well? I could have sworn I saw him using it-and I gotta tell you EDGE speed isn't that blazing fast! It could have been the 9300i (with Wifi), I dunno.

I totally missed the 770. I have one, want the n800.

"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base.
