YES! On my Mac, this update breaks my display, too..

Finally. I was scouring the net looking for ANYONE out there who has the same problem.

And though I love my Mac, at least on a PC you can UNDO the update.
How old is that kid?!? Jeez.
I looked into this insurance before. One rule for this one place that was prominent at the time was that for every ticket, you HAD to go to court to fight the ticket or else the insurance wouldn't pay. So.. it definitely wasn't worth it.
Well.. as a Huntsville native, it is very frustrating that people who's employment is fueled by government dollars, be it a government agency or not, are very quick to judge.

Thank God GM isn't a government agency, otherwise we wouldn't have cars on the road till 2017.
Big rocket? .. As in, aerospace industry? Where do you think NASA funding comes from?

I agree, a total of 30 billion is nothing compared to the hundreds of billion spent on the banks of the nation. Letting GM die will cause havoc on the automotive supply chain and effect countless families -- which will successfully catapult the nation into a crap-tastic hole of massive unemployment.
No, Pro/E. You can tell because the "spin center" in the middle of the model.
Yeah, you can't unplug an ugly alien head, though.
Mr. Lennon, is that you?

Yes, I agree. I've been putting off buying an Eee for a while since these rumors have been circulating (what, a week after the first Eee release?)

And last night, I was convinced that the best route was the HP mini. :-/ If I can ever get my hands on one.

In the automotive industry, you get the LOI (letter of intent), which is your greenlight to proceed. It's always very tricky because sometimes this is respected as a contract, and sometimes it isn't.

But an OEM dumping a tier 1 supplier like that is an amateur mistake. Not even the idiots I supply do that.
Thank God they used that black and white curtain to cover up those Godforsaken actual color trees in the background. ;-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
