I don't think Bezos cares about DRM, but it's the only competitive advantage they have over itunes at the moment.

the 1-million to 1 contrast ratio is sort of misleading...in reality, OLEDs have no backlight, so the equation is like 1/0, it doesn't exist. but that doesn't do much for advertising, and you cant really say infinity:1 contrast ratio.
um, half naked? someone send this guy a link to the good stuff
I think I saw part one - they talked about this Palestinian game company that makes an anti-israei FPS that is partially funded by their gov't. Jack Thompson also made an appearance and they did a whole fps-makes-kids-kill bit. Next time they were going to talk about WoW and the like.

Overall it was ok. Nice seeing games in hi-def.
so instead of oil, zinc would be the new world commodity?
Capcom's fiscal quarter probably ends in March, like most other retail/consumer companies (so they can include december/christmas sales receipts). So the "3" represents March, and 9 represents September, since that's the 6-month marker they probably have data on. The next 3 represents projections for the year 3/06-3/07, which is why the PS3 is so small. The majority of game sales happen in the last quarter, so that's why 2006/9 is comparatively small.

Disclosure: I own an xbox 360.
3 posts already about him! there goes my evil-guy from matrix joke.
I'm also a beta tester and while I'm bound by the NDA, I can say it's a very, very cool platform, all they have left to work on are content issues. There are leaked pics out there if you google right.

There are invites, so expect a gmail-style ebay thing to happen once they start giving them out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
