I'm a big fan of iRiver - one might say a "fanboy" even - and have been awaiting their new DAPs for a long time. I have to say, though, that there doesn't seem to be anything special about this one. I wish they would stick to their screen-click concept - more screen, less under-utilized space that just adds bulk. I'll definitely have to pass on this if it makes it into the US market.
You'll see them selling high when they fall below or around $500. You'll see them selling out when they fall below $400.

Great contest fellas! I chose the article discussing how to build an all-weather outdoor WiFi access point:
http://www.engadget.com/2005/11/15/build-an-all-weather-outdoor-wifi-access-point-for-50/
This was great mainly because it utilized off the shelf technology. But also because it could really kick off wireless mesh networking in areas when the days are upon us.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
