"the inability to play nice with DRM-strapped files from the iTMS or Zune Marketplace (among others) was somewhat of a letdown."

What a strange remark. No player, apart from the ipod, can play nice with itunes DRMd files..

Apperantly the tester was also letdown at the lack of a pony...

They should really get someone who knows their 'mp3s' down at these labs.. at least it got a 'Editors Choice'
It also constantly consumes 70W of electricity..

IF i recall correctly it takes 14 hours to cool 1 Keg .. so you can't really use it for partys (with more than 5 people...)
Now word on release dates? It should of been out in Nov... Can't find it anywhere
It must be: Halo 2
Jamie Cullum - Twnety Something!! SHOW ME MY ZUNE!!
Your comments: I bought the HTC TyTn as soon as it came out. It replaced my Qtek 9100. I have always hated dialing people and never use the cursor keys, so this looks like a great alternative!! Keem em coming HTC!!

But please tell us what superthin means...
The joystick article is awesome!

I know, slightly off topic; When is MS going to revise the XB360 hardware, to make it less loud and crash prone?
I hope these things can play back (or at least convert to stereo) AC3 this time. The Archos 700 couldn't play back AC3 and other certain formats (which i have forgotten.. I sold mine on pretty quickly because I did not have time to convert my whole avi connection to the format Archos wanted..)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
