Bang & Olufsen's BeoVision 7 LCD grows to 55-inches, makes room for Blu-ray not frugality {Engadget}

Nov 11th 2009 6:33AM Aww, poor B&O, maybe not *so* psuedo-avante-garde. Lets give them a cute nick-name, 'Bangers' :-)

Nov 11th 2009 6:26AM Bang & Olufsen always make good quality products wrapped in psuedo-avante-garde designs.

NVIDIA takes its feud with Intel to cartoonish new levels {Engadget}

Nov 5th 2009 8:49PM While I disagree with the method, I believe Nvidia is in the right to criticise Intels monopolistic practises. Indeed I think AMD should sue Intel, as AMD lost a lot of business because of Intels kickbacks.

Intel and Numonyx pave the way for scalable, higher density phase change memory {Engadget}

Oct 30th 2009 4:53AM Samsung just started mass production of a 64MB, 60nm phase-change RAM in September. Initially they are going to use them in mobile phones. The chips read, write and erase proximately 7 times faster than Flash memory, and use less power also. Eventually Samsung or the other main PRAM producer Numonyx will put the chips in SSDs that can read and write at around 1GB per second.

AMD pops out sub-$100 quad-core Athlon II X4 CPU: review roundup {Engadget}

Sep 16th 2009 8:59AM It's a bloody nice deal. So it's only about 70% as powerful as the top of the line processors. It has more than enough processing power for 90% of computer users, and it can handle all the latest games.

Sony Ericsson's £530 Pureness is 'iconic' not ironic {Engadget}

Sep 15th 2009 8:10AM Who cares about the screen? Anyone whose taken apart an LCD could just take away the backlighting/diffusion layers and have the exact same thing as this. That's all they've done. Some noob designer thought it was so cool and hi-tech and only the 'boring' designers care about 'usability'.
