Leicas rangefinder lenses are still have better image quality than Nikon or Canon SLR lenses, and are smaller and have better mechanical quality to boot.
None of the photos bothered to showcase depth of field in portraits/group shots (although the bokeh we do see is very pleasant).

None of the photos bothered to showcase display edge to edge sharpness.

None of the photos bothered to showcase high dynamic range.
Smallest and lightest digital camera available today with an APS-C sized sensor. 'nuff said.
Etymotics has been doing this with their ear-canal 'phones for a long time. Very comfy.
Chicago: AT&T on Diversey: Sold out at 10 am. Customers advised to go the Direct Fulfillment route (7-10 day wait).

Knowing Comcast, if you download more than a few HD movies per month, they'll give you a rude call, say that you're downloading an "unreasonable amount" without telling you how much is too much.

If you counter by saying that all you're doing is using your new internet connection at well below it's full bandwidth capacity, they'll say that no reasonable would be downloading as much as you, and you're making trouble for their other users.

They'll then threaten to blacklist you for 12 months if you don't reduce your downloads to a level that they'll refuse to tell you.
Simple: nuclear powered aircraft.

Both the US and the Soviets developed these during the Cold War. They would be the airborne equivalents of nuclear submarines, capable of cruising above Europe for months at a time and raining down death on an enemy long after the destruction of your own airfields and missile launch sites.

Charles Stross explored their use in his horror/alternative-history short story "A Colder War." In reality, the development of ICBMs made them superfluous.
How can they patent this?

Didn't Lotus vs. Borland show us that command hierarchies could be copied? Command hierarchy is not protected by copyright law because it was a "method of operation." I don't see how a command hierarchy of gestures is different from a command hiearchy of menu items.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
