No, it does not effect me at all. I'm not even in the US. I'm saying they're artificially inflating the price to match the higher price of their so called competitors. Any economics class will teach you that prices are supposed to go down, not up over time. The fact of the matter is they're raising the cost for no reason other then because they can with the overall lack of competition amongst the wireless carriers. It generally makes me very suspicious of the wireless providers for potential under the table collaboration.
I'm amazed no ones piped up about this yet: The CPU heatsink fan is not the thing that's making all that noise. The heatsink fan is quite quiet. The thing that's really noisy is the DVD drive when it spins up. It's so loud that I ditched the "Arcade Unplugged" game that came with my bundle and just rebought all of the games off of live so I could play it off of my HDD and not hear the DVD drive.
Chunky Chicken Vegetable soup. You crazy Americans with your November thanks giving! The *real* thanks giving happens in October.
I work as a technician in a big box electronics store. There was two monster reps coming to the store to setup the display not too long ago. I saw this damn controller and they had to spend an hour and a half on tech support in my tech room for instructions on how to setup their own product.
As long as it's weekly and consistent I don't care which day it comes on. It might be nice since a lot of podcasts come out on Sunday/Monday it would spread out my weekly lineup.
A nice HDTV (or LCD monitor to hook it up to).
I was hoping for a second you could actually party with these folks. But nooo, you have to party with a gnome, or dwarf...or whatever, midget bard.
So Congress wants to force the ERSB has to play games all the way through before giving it a label? This sort of sounds like the "Read the Bills Act" which would force Congress members to read bills all the way through before voting.

Hypocrisy is grand!
As a resident of Vancouver (the city in question) auto crime is nothing new. It's a very common crime in Vancouver and this is why we were the first city to adopt "bait cars". This is just a punk kid stealing the wrong car. There was no "luring" involved. Cops just park the car in a high crime area (downtown eastside) and wait until someone steals it.

The cops often release the videos from the cars. It's funny as hell seeing some dude on meth freaking out as the car locks all of the doors and cuts the engine.
Does anyone know if the Zune has been noted for having Mass Storage Device (UMS) support? If so it pretty much has my money with a pricepoint of $250
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
