I believe this is called carbage. It's always funny, usually sad, but in this case... I love it.
49% market share sends a loud message. This vehicle is about function and longevity, not style. I do think that the old version looked better tho :) But, look at the European vans, they're ugly too.
If you live in a US state that does not require a front plate, you could have your own "F1 PRO" plate made up for $34 :) Personally, I think I'd opt for "TI 3VOM".

I am someone who buys OEM parts. Knockoff parts are nowhere near the quality of OEM. Heck, some 3rd party parts are not as good as OEM. Say you have a four year old car receiving a new set of rotors and pads. Do you want Chinese brakes? Do you want your car to stop in the distance all the car mags say it should, or do you want it to take an extra ten feet?

It's an ethical issue, a legal issue, and a safety issue. Period.
One of these cars looks like it was designed by a company that has been building cars for over a century. The other looks like a first effort by a Chinese company that previously made toasters.

To the nay-sayers, do you realize that Ford churned out millions of Mustangs? Even today there's still plenty to go around. It's not like they tore up two vintage Ferraris.
Agree w/ #2. Lose the Hemi, give it a small torqy engine. I'll take mine in gun-metal gray with a blue denim interior. Just kidding, but that would be so sweet.

It looks like a modern version of the old Willys truck...

Aw, c'mon, they're just having a good time. I know a number of people who take great pleasure in destroying $400 Subarus in their own private backwoods rallys.

I know it's a long shot, but any chance that Autoblog will cover this year's Lake Superior Performance Rally in Michigan's UP? Of course, there's always a large number of Subarus. This is a SCCA sponsored pro rally. Pitty I will not be able to attend this year.

Mothra! Godzilla! If i've told you once, I've told you a million times... don't play in my yard or you'll step on my Lexus SC400. Now look what happened!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
