This goes along with the partnership with Clear/Comcast etc. because I live in the King County Metro Area where there's 4G service and Comcast is offering the 4g/3g bundle. i think im gonna get it.

Someone please teach me how verizon is so much better than sprint. I just don't get it. I just had verizon and am now on sprint, I can tell you I am not missing vzw and their charge extra for everything policy, o and the coverage with sprint is better, verizon doesn't have the most reliable network.
The arcade version runs on a Intel Core 2 chip. So it shouldn't be a hard translation for running under directx since it's already an x86 platform.
I believe, which i don't think anyone has explicitly mentioned, was that the increased price point was because of the increased licensing fees from Microsoft and Sony. That's what caused the increase of costs for developing the games. Sony at least used bluetooth for communication in the hardware aspect, while microsoft went the proprietary route and charges a hefty fee to license any game peripheral (maybe sony does too, but at least Bluetooth is a standard). So look to microsoft and Sony for blame, when these consoles first came out they discussed that. Also Wii games, what little third party games there are haha, are still 49.99
Blackberries don't have the custom firmware. Well neither does WInMo, and on blackberries with the newest OS GPS is free.
I think the negative comments to the Verizon OS are legitimate, at least with phones that are released across multiple carriers and they might showcase a new OS from that manufacturer but Verizon loads theirs. On that note however, I have Verizon and I have a 8330 Curve, which has full OS in tact except the crippled GPS. The Bluetooth has full OBEX, and i can use MP3 ringtones. I would love to have a nice verizon touchscreen phone, but with a better os, so i'll probably go with the storm.
I just thought i would add, it's amazing because i think xbox 360 is the last product to have a 20gb hard drive, i mean i don't believe they manufacture them anymore. In fact i don't think there was a consumer version of a laptop sata drive at 20gb.
XBOX 360

My Significant other does not care, but i am addicted to this game.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
