May 8th 2008 6:55PM I bought a memory card because I was tired of recovery. I'm glad I did, though, it's so much easier just to leave it and the game saves I take to my friend's houses (GTA4, Rock Band, etc.) and just pull it out of my Xbox and go.
Also of note, your profile stores all your Halo 3 settings and stuff.
