Lightning GT caught rolling around the track {Engadget}
Jul 24th 2008 1:17PM I work for a company involved in the production this car, as well as some other EVs. Yes the car is slow right now, that's because it's a prototype, and it only has 2 motors instead of 4 at the moment. You think the Tesla was quick on it's first prototype?
The battery is no BS, the Nano batteries will recharge in 10 minutes from a three phase power supply.
Also, I spoke to an engineer from Tesla when I was at Le Mans. They're worried about this tech, because when it's perfected it'll eclipse them.
Maybe you should think in gallons-per-mile instead of MPG {Autoblog}

You'd multiply it by 1.137.
g/100m or l/100km makes so much more sense
Windows XP comes to the Cloudbook... in Taiwan {Engadget}
May 22nd 2008 5:03PM Windows XP is already sold on the Cloudbook under its Packard Bell name in the UK, through PC World stores.
Everex's CloudBook sneaks into shopping carts, gets unboxed {Engadget}
Feb 15th 2008 2:04PM Thanks for finally listening to me about it being on sale in the UK.
To whoever wrote about the mouse being annoying, it really really is. I swear the touchpad is about an inch wide, and not being able to type and mouse at the same time is very irritating.
However, it looks nicer in person than the eee, and the 30GB hard drive + Windows XP (PC World don't sell it with Linux) makes it quite tempting.
Everex CloudBook sells out... before going on sale {Engadget}
Feb 8th 2008 10:57AM I sent them info on their tip address, what more can I do? I don't own any webspace and I described what it was like to use, and the fact that PC World sell it badged as a Packard Bell with XP installed (the only Linux computer they sell is the eee).
Look, here's the link to it on their website: http://www.pcworld.co.uk:80/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1250816113.1202486128@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccgfadedfgigfhgcflgceggdhhmdgmi.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=622061&category_oid=-27757
If it doesn't work, go to Laptops -> Laptops for the move.

Feb 7th 2008 5:00PM This computer has been on sale for ages! Listen to meeeeeee! It's been in PC World in the UK since at least the beginning of January. I've held one, I've played with one, I've emailed you telling you all about it. This wasn't at some show or company HQ, it was in a smallish store of a major retail chain!
Everex's $399 CloudBook wannabEee: now February 15th {Engadget}
Jan 30th 2008 5:07PM Why would you call BS? Go into any PC World in the UK and there will be one next to the eees, but they install XP on them instead of the Linux distro.
