i would love to have an altec lansing octiv air! i have some old 2.1 altec lansing speakers and they've been the best speakers i've owned. crisp highs, loud without distortion, and nice bass.

i think to fix the economy we can raise the taxes on high-income folks. i'd like to think if i was making as much as them i could take more of a hit in taxes.

maybe i'm being too simple. some kind of handheld with a decent size screen and battery life. stylus/touchscreen, full qwerty keyboard. possible GPS to select which location/house/etc you're inputting data for/from. access to the internet. create an application hosted on a secure server with php (free) and a mysql db (free). this can be changed as the census changes. (every 10 years or whatever)??

so....it has an apple display, but the mouse has at least 2 buttons and a scroll wheel? either the apple display is hooked up to a PC, or only the left mouse button works =p

geez Dave, it's good for the environment. when people dump their old computer out with the trash, the stuff ends up in a landfill, and then it rains, and then hooray, there's lead in my water.

isn't 12.1in kinda small? i havent really noticed but all the screens we're rolling out at work (desktops) are 17" or 19".

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
