The whole cost of internet is ridiculous. I still have dial up at home because AT&T has not run DSL or U-verse in my area, and Comcast would cost 60 a month. I looked at mobile broadband as a solution, but 80 a month for unlimited is even worse!!! The cheapest i have seen unlimited mobile 3g service is with a newer provider named Cricket. They want 40 a month for unlimited 3g wireless broadband service, without a contract, and it will cost you 60 for a usb modem that you plug into your computer.
This would be awesome!!!
Why does it have to go to crappy T-mo. It shouldn't be that hard to get the phone to work with AT&T though, the only other GSM phone provider that I know of.
sd or sdhc, please, don't they realize that cf is faster?
@nDee, for that matter, no cell phone company really cares about the U.S. market. I guess 300 million people is just to small for them. Even Motorola doesn't care and its based right here in the US. They send all their good phones overseas.
Didn't happen, was watching the telecast pictured above. This is a hoax!!!
And the battery probably only lasts about 2.5 seconds too.
I thought that it was going to go to AT&T due to the fact that the 3G was supposed to be HSDPA. Sprint sucks so bad.
Engadget, you seem to be forgetting that you reported on IBM doing this sort of thing between multiple CPU's so that the CPU's could play nice with each other.
Please read your service contract first. Many state that you may not use streaming data on their networks through any data connection. And many also state that excessive use of data services can result in termination of data service - even if you have "unlimited".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
