Who cares, people are switching from Avast and AVG to Microsoft Security Essentials in droves....
I've dropped both AVG and Avast on all computers I have touched, and switched to Microsoft Security Essentials. Haven't regretted it for a second, although I generally don't favor anything from Redmond....
Opera is in my view the best browser out there, but it is far from perfect. Firefox beats it with the extensions, IE with users, and so on. However, stick to the browser you like most, because there is no "best browser", only "best browser for you".

For a good browser comparison, check out Wikipedia:

Hulu is for Americans, YouTube is for the world.
Epyon didn't order the optional power plant.....
The trend of blocking services for foreigners seem to be on the increase in the U.S., Hulu, Pandora, and Google Voice are three high profile web sites/services that do this. Why? No, you don't need to answer that --it is just plain stupid!

I have spoken.

;-)
I wouldn't buy this phone for the software, but I will for the hardware.

Windows ain't that bad on these types of phones, just download a better browser (like Skyfire) and a couple of other apps and it is quite useful. However, Microsoft is doing a shitty job at maintaining this OS (why do I almost never get any Windows updates on my HTC TyTN2?) and part of it is very old and little or no progress seems to have been made in years.

Anyway, I will buy a HD2, but if it supported Android I would likely buy at least two.

By the way, if it wasn't for HTC then I fear the platform would be close to extinct....
The day SugarSync get Linux support is the day I sign up for it....
First impression is rather impressive, unless there are any gotchas then I will use this. I like the fact that it lets you upload photos too.

Need to use it more to find out how well it really works, but I like the way it displays the photos and it will be a nice complement to the Flickr site itself.
This one does a lot more than Cooliris, and it doesn't necessarily mean it is a drawback to not be a browser add-on....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
