Sounds look good old yellow journalism to me. The local news is a wonderful source of ambulance-chasing crime stories, sensationalist human interest stories, and corporate and political paid programming. We seem to get a story like this every few weeks. At least for a change it has nothing to do with Jack Thompson.
"As you've probably seen, most mobile games are pretty awful"

I hope the word mobile refers specifically to mobile phones, and not handhelds/portables. I like the games on my DS and PSP very much, thank you... sometimes more than on my 360 or Wii.
$4-6? What a ripoff! Why would I pay that much for a 24 hour rental of a pixelated, choppy, less than Q-CIF resolution movie. $7 for unlimited monthly content is one thing, but this... this is just another case of the movie moguls trying to pinch every penny they can from us and make us pay once again for content we've probably already purchased in the past in another format.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
