Feb 17th 2009 5:26PM If you pick me, i won't have to plug my laptop in to my TV to stream movies anymore, meaning i can watch movies and be online simultaneously, meaning more time to peruse Engadget's family of sites, meaning more ad revenue!
Picking me is like money in your pocket, Engadget.

Two years and half billion later, Helio sells for a song. But why? {Engadget}
Jun 27th 2008 3:15PM Its really strange that a company that had such a rabid base and such compelling tech (Ocean) couldn't pull in something a little better. Pre-iPhone, i rocked Helio, and was happy. Weird they couldn't turn that customer satisfaction in to a few bones that'd allow them to sell at a more reasonable price. Any chance we'll learn more about the incompetence that lead to this?
Unrelated: Are the comments on the Regan / Alzheimers post turned off? Because that's pretty shady. As somebody who staunchly supported Engadget during the last photo fiasco (i believe a kitten in a CRT monitor based cage that was powered off -- the photo was harmless and a riot) i just wanted to chime in my disapproval.
Good day.
iPhone 3G: everything you ever wanted to know (but were afraid to ask) {Engadget}
Jun 12th 2008 10:08PM Fred... just a thought: every time you click through to whine about an Apple post, you are adding one more tick to the number of times it is viewed, adding one more set of eyeballs for Ryan and his crew to sell ads to.
Furthermore, every time you reply, all the apple fans who have "E-Mail me when someone replies to this comment" checked get another email with a link back to this post, adding more value to the ad space on this page.
EVERY TIME YOU TROLL AROUND HERE BEING OBNOXIOUS, YOU ONLY ADD VALUE TO THE APPLE POSTS.
If you really want them to stop... GO AWAY. If you and all your Apple-disinterested buddies would just NOT CLICK IN TO THESE POSTS, their value would inherently go down, and Ryan and others would not see it as such a sound business decision to continue posting stories like this. You are just making dude richer by postin' it up in here, adding incentive to continue these posts.
Plus then, those of us that actually like these posts and see them as valuable (and yes, there are lots of us... at least 6 million) would get to have rational, valuable conversation. Neat, huh?
