For teh win! I actually just reconfigured the HTPC and this keyboard/mouse combo would come out killer clutch!
Pick Me! I would fix the world economy by making everyone thats evil pay extra in taxes. To find if you've passed the threshold to be considered evil, you'll have to take a facebook quiz.
Guys, leaders of almost every industry grease over politicians for company gains. It's the most influential and socially acceptable form of bribery (and in some cases, blackmail).
dan2600,

Transfer some to the store in Mesquite, TX... My buddy was trying to find an Arcade version w/ the BenQ drive, but the first one he got had the hitachi...doh! Return...and retry
w00p was definitely pre 1998 gaming. Amongst Q2 engines from my perspectives at least.

"we owned the other team" isn't the origin, but it can been seen as an accurate definition.
Actually, being an avid online gamer since the days of Quake 2, SiN, and such, I believe I know the true origin of this word. When I first started playing online games, everyone would say, "w00p"-- ending with a “p”, not a “t”. I soon realized that it was simply an expression of joy, or pure ownage. Towards the end of an active community in SiN, and towards the start of UT99, w00p slowly got replaced by w00t, which held the exact same meaning.

So for me, the true origin is w00p. So now maybe we need to research on how w00p got started….
...and the counter has started.
Lets see how long it takes for my DSL to be upgraded. 6mbit just does not cut it these days. What's the current lag with new technology and consumer in-hands use in America? 5-6 years? If we're lucky!
So wait a minute.

I don't really understand how this is going to work.

You're telling me that these cards have 30 mile ranges? So will we be able to see THOUSANDS of wifi networks once everyone gets these cards? I live in a real urban area right north of downtown Dallas. I can only imagine that there would be 100,000+ wifi networks.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
