My main beef, is from what i've seen some have stated that Engadget(and its buddies)...let alone the Gawker Network in general too, both proceeded with this story late, by what...a year?....
The other is I got off work(and tend to on Monday's and Tuesday's) at like 2:30PM EST (got home at 3pm...showered, bathed dog, surfed to find the Engadget post...), if there was a cutoff limit of the date for the thing(which I swear I thought it said end of the month?...)...So in the end I was bent over and raped with a survey taking time of my needed afternoon nap to make it through the rest of the day(which I did not get, which means I only got maybe 4 hours of sleep last night), and let MS's watch-my-every-move-spy-err-application monitor invade my computer which could cause a system crash. Maybe. Microsoft's inability to update their site to state there was no more free software to be had, within a timely manner, from when they actually cut it off, you know for people who work and make a living who could probablly use the nice software that they can't afford due to bills.
Which in turn means my new BYO computer that I am saving for will still cost over 1000 dollars of my hard earned cash.
as a gay person i find all this amusing....on the side note, I would bang the guy...possiblly in the door way there with the bike parked off to the side...
Thats exactlly what I was thinking, I was thinking "doesn't Paramount own that in someway?", due to licencing and all that. I would be suprised if some of the technologies on sci-fi shows/movies/books have not been previouslly patented---especially this.
So I see this becoming like the first two years the PS2 was out around Christmas time when people bought theirs as early as possible and as many of units as possible to sell them at the 5000 USD amount that i remember hearing about.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
