So Xbox users are little boys and girls with big heads ?
I wonder how much Microsoft paid for the show itself...

Any free copies of Windows 7 btw ?

I don't live in the 51 states of the USA and can't attend the show in person, so I guess it's a no....
No SD is a disgrace.

xD is basically SD without a flash controller. The flash controller sits in the IC talking to the flash card. It makes
the card cheaper (?), but let's just stop this nonsense about several flash card standards.

Just stick to SD and CompactFlash. CompactFlash for those apps who need faster access.
$300 ?

Is that the golden plated ueber-professional-geek-nerd-plus-plus special edition ?

I paid 60+ pounds (close to 80 euro + VAT and shipping) for my W7 HP full retail.
@ E C S Sucks

yes you can. Amazon UK ships stuff other than books, DVD and CDs to other EU countries.
Even electronics in most cases. E.g. you can order your PS3 Slim @ 249 GBP as well ;-)
Incl. shipping it's not that expensive compared to dutch on-line stores.
and lots of people (= geeks) in Holland ordered from amazon.co.uk as well.

80 euro for W7 HP incl. shipping for a full retail is a bargain, even the Vista OEM is more expensive, still... at the moment. Though you get an upgrade to Win7, but who wants just an upgrade DVD.
Guys, if you have a manual and the unit actual works....

Can you check what Sony did with high-def audio when playing BD disks ?

The original PS3 decodes DTS-HD and streams 7.1 LPCM via HDMI. Maybe ... it can also do
passthrough now if they decided to replace the HDMI chip for something better.
Hmm.... both side pics tell me there's no cage for the HDD anymore -> can't be replaced ?
If it's 299 euro in europe, then I won't call it slim. Then there's still some fat left inside Sony's wallet(s).

250 euro should be the real price incl. VAT here.

Question is though how slim is slim and what has been dropped compared to the PS3 "obisitas challenged" (TM)
Maximum for LTE is 100 Mbps down, 50 Mbps up. Though with more antenna's etc. you could push this to 300 Mbps down. See wikipedia.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
