Engadget, i dont know if your comments were meant to be sarcastic, but the start of this event was brilliant. I was also disappointed initially that it wasn't walking in an anatomically correct manner, but when you're nearly underneath a 50 foot spider walking down the street, you certainly arnt looking at the hydraulic arm that is keeping it afloat. The fact that the truck beneath keeps it up means that the 8 people controlling the arms movement can be much more fluid, artistic and playful. As a spectacle and street theatre, i have to applaud Artichoke (the company who made it) and Liverpool for organising this event. What it has done, to spur a sense of pride in the city, and how it has engaged and enthused the public can only be a wonderful thing. Its certainly the highlight of the (admittedly spurious) 'capital of culture' year for the city.

(note: i am a Brit who is currently living in Liverpool , but not a scoucer)
I dont care about the coffee warmer, (some of the concepts on their website are quite cool though) Im more interested in who designed that Mug? I wants.
I downloaded the HD gametrailer version before i posted, so yes, unless that was encoded from a crap source, its pretty poor. Not to say that the game wont be ace, just developers shouldnt try to push graphics ahead of gameplay. Assassins creeds framerate was boarderline, but this would be unplayable.
does no-one seem to be concerned about how shockingly bad that framerate is?
*sigh* microsoft are raping my childhood
hi kory,

i think i remember Steve holding that button at the macworld keynote to lock the screen, so he could demo the "slide to unlock" feature again ... if i wasn't a lazy man, i would go check!
kory, i think thats just the hold switch thing
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
