Well..it's not a working model that we got (or that this is a picture of.)though I did see a live one at a seminar and I was pretty impressed. The price tag is a little shiny because of the expanded features that this has, but personally I hope it does better than the other treos.
I find it interesting. Personally I've never heard of this machine, or it's predecessors, and now I'm excited about hand helds again. Ha!
I look forward to hunting one of these suckers down when (if) they're released...if for nothing else than to tinker with it.
Methinks it would be easier to mod than my PSP anyway..and much more affordable as well.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
