Gamestop on Winter St. in downtown Boston was out of stock last night.

I have a feeling that the good reviews + these (hopefully very temporary) shortages = big smiles at Gearbox.
The levels were sandbox layouts, you had far more tactical control over your squad, and the game leaned much more towards simulation than the arcadey (but still brilliant) GRAW.

The originals were minimalist too, no flash at all- definitely no red diamonds on your enemy's face. I also thought that the versus multiplayer was much better than GRAW (though I really like GRAW's Co-op MP options).

Don't get me wrong- if this release winds up being a GRAW 3 type of thing, I will play the shit out of it. Wouldn't mind seeing a return to the original form though.
Uncle Jesse- you have good ideas and you're going places.
Great news!

Hold the aliens please. Thanks.
Oh, that's sad. I guess he took the librarian's place. :(
I guess that's why you have "rad" in your name.
You have got to be fucking kidding me.
An Addendum to the Guide:

Have fun while it lasts. No mortal, not even a person who writes in blue font, can possibly withstand the incessant (but kinda funny) whining, bitching, and moaning by 2 year olds about your class on the WoW dps forums for much longer. This furious ball of self-flagellating hating screaming nerdrage has grown so large that it has its own weather system. Prepare to have the majority of your talents eliminated and replaced with dance moves and baking skills in 3.3.
Gnosh, think before you write. Not everyone works Monday through Friday.

But we'll work on this, just for you, because you asked so nicely.
"the problem exists between the chair and the keyboard."

Made me laugh.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
