Netflix on the Xbox 360 gets demonstrated on video {Engadget}

Jul 22nd 2008 10:58AM There is no sadder form of male overcompensation than when a geek lists all of their awesome equipment for whatever they are into, be it audio, video, photo, etc. No one cares. List all the "vage" you've been into and then we can talk...

Dr. Dre's Beats headphones keep they heads ringin' for $350 {Engadget}

Jul 22nd 2008 10:30AM Those are colloquialisms. You clearly have no actual idea what a racial slur is towlie.

ZOMG! Online survey hints at Blu-ray Xbox 360 {Xbox 360 Fanboy}

Jul 7th 2008 3:06PM I know this is an old topic and no one will read this but I guarantee the 360 will have a Blu Ray player. I don't get the feeling that MS thinks "hey we have much better game exclusivity than the PS3."

What I'm implying is that MS will do whatever they can to level the playing field between the 2 consoles and not just rely on software. Releasing ONLY a Blu-Ray add on drive isn't enough. They have to release an integrated Blu Ray drive so that the 360 is equal or very close to PS3 in terms of cost/benefit.

iPhone anti-interference shield puts an end to buzzing speakers {Engadget}

Jun 25th 2008 8:34PM As long as any 3G phone supports GSM too, you will always have the buzz. Its inherent by design. Designers try to choke it as much as is reasonable (from a design cost standpoint) but it cant really be eliminated.

Samsung's 1080p SP-A800B DLP projector now available {Engadget}

Jun 20th 2008 11:13AM I kinda want to agree with you on the whole "put a TV tuner and people will come" thing....but yea....little kids watching as much TV as they do would burn out a bulb every year....plus, I don't think enough people would want to take the necessary steps to throw some kind of ambient light control in the PJ room....

Maybe if LED LAMPS ever become viable?

The HTC Touch Pro {Engadget}

Jun 18th 2008 3:11PM If you are moving to a major US city, chances are you will be ok without GSM 850. I use nothing but Europe/Asia GSM phones in Chicago and only need 850 when going far South in the state (i.e. remote areas). I get by without 850 in several major US cities. Just check the coverage map for Tmobile/AT&T and it'll tell you what bands are used where....

Panasonic intros LB80 series of LCD projectors {Engadget}

May 29th 2008 11:33PM What value add do these provide over the 1080p projectors, some of which are right around 2K or a little under (with rebates). Even the highly regarded Panasonic AE2000 is 1080p, extra tits and only costs $2600. Why are these upwards of $3500? Are those ghey MSRP numbers?

BlackBerry 9000 gets extended interface video tour {Engadget}

May 8th 2008 10:03PM Anyone with even a modicum of technical knowledge knows that Apple HAS NEVER BEEN 5 years ahead of the competition on anything, whether its computers or mobile devices.

Apple has decent engineers, but overall...they aren't that great.

Apple has amazing industrial designers though.

Eye Candy is the only place they have ever innovated. The hardware and its quality is actually way BEHIND the competition.... by at least one generation.

Samsung chairman, son, and others resign in shame {Engadget}

Apr 22nd 2008 3:06AM My special probe frequently causes problems as well.

The Body-laptop interface is knitted from Thneed which nobody, Nobody, NOBODY needs {Engadget}

Apr 16th 2008 5:39AM Oh jesus dude thank you for making me laugh. I needed it :) Best comment I've read in awhile...
