Its quite funny, you havent considered the most simple explanation for the price drop.
MARKETING. Announce your product to be quite pricey ... get everyone moan about it and how the competitors are doing it better.
SUddenly announce a price drop. Everyone talks about, tells their friends, goes "ooooooooh thats better" and the Sony marketing machine rolls on forward.
some of you guys have posted quite offencive comments, i bet for the woman who has lost a part of her body she is grateful with such an achievemnt. Obviously its not of any value but comedy for you people sitting there with your arms intact behind your little screens. Im ashamed for you. I have an uncle who has lost his entire arm in a working accident, and to be abelt to "feel again" or be able to take control of his prosthetic limb would have been a dream.

Its obviously a marketing buzz thing. I mean ive visited a few sites and theyre all talking about it. So it obviously worked. And why wouldnt you ? This way ... worlds number one music player, opened up by thousands every hour becomes worlds most READ billboard ! .......... genius
Ok one thing. If the european sites are shwoing trailers at the bottom .. ie Transporter ..... etc .... why are they there. Right above them is the link to the trailers page anyway... with links to itunes trailers ....
