Myth busted
Well I think it's still earlier to talk about an Steve-less Apple. So not really thinking of it.

But I think that inside Apple the best suited to fill the CEO place is Phil Schiller. Ive is not the CEO type of guy, specially for Apple.

And my bashing part tells that Bertrand would be a great CEO. "Redmond, start your photocopiers!" :P

Now seriously, Phil Schiller or an outsider. Oppenheimer could also be a candidate or Tim Cook. Can't really see Scott as CEO.

Just my 2 photocopiers. LOL
Well it's really a great iPod. For me, it's the best one made by Apple.

The actual iPod Classic doesn't have the feel of the 5G (mine is a 5.5G 30GB). It's slower, looks bigger and the audio is worse.

I will never change this iPod for another one. I use it almost every day and it's still as new. Went to the beach, worked above the altitude recommended my Apple and went to every place that a teenager like me goes, and he (yes, my iPod is a he) survived and keeps working as new.

He's going to make 2 years this christmas (self gift) and he still has the screen as new, the battery life is almost the same. Besides the typical scratches in the back, the front is just like what it was in his first working day.

He's really what I call a "war machine". A wonderful piece of technology that kept me entertained in long trips (except when i forgot to charge him, it happens), made me share my music, videos and photos with friends, without even needing a computer.

And who doesn't love is glossy black finish? Why black? The iPod is a very common device in my school and one thing I noticed is that the vast majority of the iPods were white. I like to be different and really liked the black, so went for a black iPod.

Apple needs to rethink their iPod strategy. It continues to sell well but I think that the actual iPod generations don't have the genes of the old ones. They are just one more player with the difference of the market share. Besides iPod Touch there is no difference between an iPod and another player these days. Apple needs to make them different to continue succeeding. And please, make glossy black and white black.
Well it's a good workshop, I learned somethings. I didn't knew about Instant Alpha and it's so gorgeous.
Yeah, that's right, only 39MB.

Not tested yet, don't want to reboot. :)
Portuguese tech, here the alcohol limit is 0,5g/l. But it is very good to see one of our companies in the major news sites!
Who cares?

It will still play music and videos as it plays now.
Why do people allways forget about Portugal?

It would be nice if you put 6:00PM - London and Lisbon.

Yes, we do have the BST too.

My predictions to this event: Steve jobs will wear a black turtleneck and blue jeans. He will say "boom" at 5:23 PM GMT and this keynote will end with Steve Jobs saying "Thank you all for coming today. We think that this is great!".

About products, don't expect and phoneless iPhone, but some sort of hybrid system that has a big widescreen but with no muititouch. And if it has multitouch I expect to see some sort of clickwheel, because that is what makes iPod simpler that his competition.
Does anyone knows the hour ou the event?
Lisbon - 6 PM

I think that Steve Jobs invited Fake Steve Jobs to add some fun. An the real Steve Jobs is going to say boom!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
