What the hell is a Pleo?
@jerome, comment 52 - To hear the SE K800i's browser described as "agricultural" by someone else is comforting. I thought i was alone with this train of thought.

And yeah, I'm in Ireland where O2 have yet to announce anything about the mystic iPhone - so I shipped one from the states, unlocked it and can safely say that i'm totally happy with it. I came from having a SE K800i on Three - and while I was a little miffed st the thought of not having 3.5mb 3G on tap for my Gmail app and limited Twittering via Opera mini, I was presently surprised with O2 Irelands EDGE performance. Needless to say, so far I haven't missed MMS...

O2 Ireland have almost 70% EDGE coverage too :)

Where's the live coverage?
Why haven't Apple come to Ireland yet? We need a store in Dublin badly, if only for the Genius Bar!
Oh Diebold, whatever next?

The pen is indeed mightier than the shoddy, insecure, yet widely used e-voting machine...
This is truly terrible news. My heart felt sympathies to his family and friends. Dan - Dublin, Ireland
Wow, this is so weird. Like the others, i hope they return home safe and sound.
Was i the only one who read this as "Mossberg pisses Wii over PS3"...meh

Ah to have a PS3 - to think us European suckers don't get it till March!
Adverts wise - yeah, they do have a lot on the site although it has improved with the redesign.

And to think it used to be like this: http://web.archive.org/web/20040305002602/http://www.engadget.com/

Thats what increased traffic and ad revenue do to a blog i guess :( Back on topic though, i think 4000 green ones is a tad too much for a G4 with a line-in. Or maybe i'm missing the point?
Yeah, thanks for the top notch coverage - Engadget has been my main source for next gen coverage so far.

Now, more gameplay video! (even though you are a gadget blog...)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
